Priscilla Cooper's "Victory Garden" is a collage with pictures of and material from her garden.

The annual faculty art show opened last week in the Corner Gallery. The show includes work from a variety of disciplines and ranges from intuitive to heavenly. Several pieces are on loan while others are available for purchase.

Philip Corliss, photography instructor, had several photos that he took of Abbey's in England.

Donna Bain, art instructor, displayed a design for an upcoming public art project.

"I like to explore the relationship between order and chaos," Bain said.

The project consists of three steel sailboats that will reach the height of 14.5 feet.

Priscilla Cooper, art instructor, makes her own paper from material in her garden and incorporates natural objects into her pieces.

Cooper said she enjoys gardening and nature, and utilizes mixed media in her work.

Larry Clark, ceramic instructor, had porcelain plates and some oil pastel paintings. Michael Horswill, sculpture instructor, had several steel sculptures and a charcoal drawing with a welded steel frame.

Rachel Dolezal teaches survey of art and had an acrylic on eggshell painting on display. Robin Dare, life-drawing instructor, has an oil on canvas painting in the show. Allie Kurtz Vogt, oil painting instructor, had a thematic series (chalices) of vibrant pastels, one of which will be a part of her daughters wedding.

The Corner Gallery is open 10-4 p.m weekdays. The show closes Feb. 19.
